Cello lessons for all levels

Since the age of 19 I have been teaching the cello. I started with the kind support of my teacher, the late Russi Dragnev in Thessaloniki. I consider myself lucky to have had wonderful teachers throughout my studies from whom I learnt a lot. Combined with personal research, a lot of experimenting and concert experience, I see it as my duty to pass on what I know to my own pupils. No matter if you are a beginner or an aspiring university student, you can get in touch to arrange a lesson.

Music Theory Class

Music theory is a very important element, which is curiously lacking in the musical education nowadays. One can't really progress as a performer without knowledge of rhythm, harmony, structure and -of course- history. Normally I include theory in my cello lessons but it could be done independently as well.

Musikschulkreis Lüdinghausen

I am very happy to be part of the team of the wonderful Musikschulkreis Lüdinghausen, which is a major cultural institution for Kreis Coesfeld in North Rhine Westphalia, Germany. There I have a class of several pupils of all ages. I currently teach in Lüdinghausen and in Olfen.

Online Lessons

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic everybody had to adapt the way they work and communicate with the outside world. We, music teachers, were obliged to turn to online lessons without being really prepared for it. However the experience we gained is a very valuable one and with that knowledge I am now in the position to offer online lessons to everybody who either lives far away from the city or would rather stay home for health reasons. As always, don't hesitate to get in touch!

The equipment that I have allows me to have a good video and sound quality as well as to provide you with notes and handwritten exercises cut out to your needs.

My preferred medium is Skype but I can easily work with Zoom or FaceTime as well.
